The San Juan Islands are the best place in the world to view orca whales in the wild and our vessels depart from the middle of it all, the west side of San Juan Island. The best months to view orca are from April though September, but a wide variety of other species thrive here as well. In addition to orca, humpback, gray and minke whales, porpoise, sea lions, a diverse variety of sea birds, eagles and seals call the San Juan Islands home year round.

The Legacy Charters office is located just to the left as you exit the Friday Harbor ferry, at #14 Cannery Landing next to Dockside Treasures.
